Today is a big day for IP Australia. As of today, the 10th of October 2016, they are introducing a new fee structure. What this means for you is that you are now only required to pay a one-off fee when you submit a trademark application. The major bonus to this is that registration fees are no longer applicable.
On the other side of the coin, unfortunately if you happened to have file prior to the 10th of October 2016, you are still required to pay the registration fee which is $300 (three hundred dollars) per class.
To further assist with this, we have included a table above with the updated fees. Naturally though, as one fee is eliminated, others a brought in meaning that the initial one-off fee has increased.
