Raised in North Queensland after his family moved from a farming background in rural New South Wales, Justin has always felt deeply connected to the people and spirit of Townsville and North Queensland. Justin learned the value of hard work and determination early while helping run his family’s businesses. That grassroots experience gave him a deep understanding of people and what’s at stake when they need legal help.
Justin then moved to Sydney and obtained his Bachelor of Laws Degree from the renowned and globally ranked University of New South Wales law school in Sydney. Justin then headed to the UK for advanced legal study at University College London, one of the world’s most prestigious law schools (recently ranked 10th globally).
Upon his return to Australia, Justin began his career at distinguished law firms including global firm Ashurst and then at DC Strategy in Sydney, where he honed his skills in complex legal matters and high stakes negotiations.
Driven to make a greater impact, he returned to his roots, moving north and founded Strategic Lawyers — a firm built on tenacity, innovation, empathy, and an unwavering commitment to results for clients. Justin is now known for going above and beyond to secure the best outcomes for his clients.
