Admitted to practice in 2007, Michelle is a results-driven advocate specialising in Family Law, Domestic Violence and Criminal Law, as well as many other areas. After many years in practice, she has built a reputation for navigating complex legal landscapes and delivering what matters most to her clients: a decisive win.
Legal challenges can be overwhelming for clients, but she thrives in challenging environments. Her career spans everything from sensitive, high-conflict family disputes to managing major class actions. She has robust, multi-jurisdictional advocacy experience and has regularly appeared in many different courts across Queensland, New South Wales and the ACT, in the Magistrates, District and Supreme jurisdictions. Whether negotiating a strategic settlement or fighting for your rights in the courtroom, she brings the relentless dedication and sharp strategic mind needed to achieve the best possible outcome.
Her legal foundation was built at the University of New England, where she completed a Bachelor of Laws, followed by a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the Australian National University. After sharpening her advocacy skills in Canberra for many years, she relocated back to her hometown of Ayr, representing clients across North Queensland. Now permanently based in Townsville with her family, she looks forward to continuing to advocate for the best outcomes for her clients.
